Projects

Consultancy to start, with a very cost-effective IoT solution.

Europe’s first Net-Zero hotel contracted Energy Bi to look for areas missed by the sustainability team, principally in energy.

We designed the rooftop solar PV solutions prior to tender, developed the in-house energy management plan, and delivered a completely bespoke booking control system for a portfolio of short-let apartments around London.

Solar PV design in an evolving business… Evolved into a co-located Battery solution, EV charging and energy procurement.

Pandemic-impacted businesses are everywhere, so a holistic approach to business needs increased energy security. We designed a solar array to reduce onsite electrical usage by 40% year-round. In the summer months, 80%. With this came the question, “What else can we do?” and a few weeks later, a battery was added to the solar with a value stack set to payback in 6 years.

EV charging is added post-solar commissioning for public access, creating three interlinked and supporting income streams. Completing the picture in a year of huge change for the clients with gas and electric procurement secured with solutions known to utility and maximising benefits behind the meter

Utility Consulting

Utilities are best placed to support businesses in reaching Net-Zero targets or simply providing Energy security to their customers. Many consultants and solution providers will not develop the relationship for fear of conflict or lack of rapport.

Energy Bi has an ongoing relationship with Utilities both behind the scenes and with customer-facing solutions, providing both the Utility and its customers with a wide base of support and knowledge.

Having built battery solutions, Ai control, and Edge computing systems and strategies, Energy Bi now works through the supply chain with brokers, other consultants, Utilities, DNOs and asset owners in a consultative or project-driven fashion.

Energy Park Net-Metering and Energy Monitoring Platform

Data insight drives change and progress. “We cannot manage what we cannot measure.”

Metering and data insight are at the core of our business. Many new customers start with this type of project as the energy and general level of IoT in their businesses do not match the targets set.

With Business Intelligence (Bi) packages applied to energy data and overlaid again with KPIs, obvious net steps are clear across the business. Increasingly, energy data is realised to be misunderstood, whereby it should not be hidden and protected but shared and discussed.

EV CPO strategy across supply chain

An adept newcomer in the Electric Vehicle Charging sector sought the expertise of a seasoned industry professional to formulate an effective go-to-market strategy. With aspirations to deploy charging sites across multiple countries and continents, the challenge extended beyond the typical market entry scenario.

Navigating the intricacies of energy arbitrage within a complex landscape of permitting and connectivity required a specialised skill set. This is where Energy Bi, leveraging its profound understanding of the industry, stepped in to craft a comprehensive go-to-market plan and a meticulously designed delivery roadmap.

The project's ambitious goal was to secure major components of the supply chain, establish delivery partnerships on a global scale, and assemble a proficient management team for a swift rollout—all within a tight 12-month timeline. In this consultancy role, Energy Bi seamlessly integrated its diverse expertise to provide the client with a well-rounded strategy, ensuring a successful foray into the dynamic Electric Vehicle Charging market.

IoT Hardware manufacturer go to market

An accomplished and experienced electronics inventor and manufacturer, boasting a robust product portfolio, found itself in need of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy. While the technical aspects of the offerings were well-established, the challenge lay in aligning these innovations with market demands—an area where Energy Bi stepped in.

The focus of the project was on developing marketing resources through effective commercialisation and sales account management. The primary goal revolved around driving unit sales and establishing framework contracts, which served as the cornerstone for generating the necessary cash flow to further enhance the commercial offering. Energy Bi undertook the task of ensuring not just technical completeness but also a strategic market fit, addressing the crucial balance between innovation and market demand.
